A Little about Myself
I, Dr. Manas Mandal, am an Assistant Professor of Department of Chemistry at the Sree Chaitanya College, Habra under West Bengal State University in India. I earned my Ph.D degree from Jadavpur University. Parallel with the current position, I am an active researcher at the Department of Chemistry, Jadavpur University. My research interest lies in the field of nanocomposites for various application, especially for electrochemical energy storage. I hold M.Sc degree in Chemistry from IIT Kanpur and M.Tech in Materials Science & Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
To lead a happy life, it is important to have a happy family. I met my wife Krishna in 2011 and got married to her in 2016. She is doing her postdoctoral research in the field of Coordination Chemistry at IACS, Kolkata. My father has retired in 2017 as a primary school teacher. My native place Bhangadali is a small village where people know each other.
